“This was the best part of our Italian vacation. My wife and I, joined by two other couples that are close friends of ours, decided to charter a boat about 2 months before our trip. The reservation process was very professional and extremely easy. When we arrived in Amalfi, our hotel (Santa Caterina) connected with Premium Boat Charter and arranged for the yacht to pick us up directly from our hotel’s pier. We felt like total celebrities when a 60ft yacht (named the Sahir) pulled up and we all hopped on. From the minute we stepped aboard, Salvatore and Rocco ensured we were all comfortable and popped open a bottle of Prosecco for us, which was quickly followed by another bottle because we just couldn’t help ourselves given the setting. Salvatore was an excellent first mate and really helped us plan how we wanted to spend our time during the excursion. Per his suggestion, we traveled along the coast line up to Positano, stopping in little coves and bights to swim, snorkel, and explore the many grottos the coast line has to offer. Around noon, Rocco took us to Capri where we had the most incredible lunch overlooking the crystal blue waters below at Il Riccio, which had fantastic seafood. After lunch, we hopped back aboard and traveled to a cliff near Positano where we got to do some cliff diving, and then stopped by the Fiordo di Furore which is something everyone should see from the water. All in all, the trip was about 9 hours, filled with good wine, prosecco, and local beer (compliments of Premium Charter), and above all else an unforgettable experience with close friends. It might be a while before I am back in Italy, but I can 100% guarantee when I do return booking through Premium Charter is my top priority.”

We took our 4 year old and Fausto could not have been more lovely and accommodating of her. Helping her on and off the boat to swim and providing a swim vest. ” The first day we were picked up by Paolo and his mate Salvatore! They took my daughter and I all over the Amalfi coast and taking special care to make sure we saw and swam in every grotto! We celebrated with prosecco and cried happy tears when they dropped us off at the dock for our stay on Capri. It was so special that we decided to do it again! We spend a couple of hours on Capri (too many people, even in April) then slowly cruised back to Positano. A very special day to remember from our time in Positano. ”

Premium Boat Charter was recommended to us by the agent who helped us book our villa accommodations in the town of Amalfi. I reached out for Carmen by email and because it appeared that her response back to me had not been received by me (since I tried a few times after that initial email), she personally called me from Amalfi to the USA! We then resolved the email issues that were on my end, and she consistently was responsive and went above and beyond to be helpful in booking our private boat charter. Traveling as two couples, we had decided to splurge a bit and booked the 43-foot yacht for a full-day excursion. We launched directly from the marina in Amalfi. Our English-speaking captain David Anastasio was just wonderful in so many ways, and a nice relationship with him blossomed throughout the day. He pointed out interesting information throughout our journey along the stunningly beautiful coast. We appreciated the plentiful sparkling wine, beer, wine, soft drinks and water that he served and/or were available to us during the day along with nuts and other snacks. David layed out and offered plenty of towels, and the on-board toilet came in handy when needed. He took us in or by numerous grottos allowing us to touch the rock overhead where possible, snapping photos of us along the way, and suggesting we jump in the amazingly blue waters in one spot that was the most memorable time of our Amalfi holiday! He offered to let us disembark at times along the way (Positano and Capri) but suggested perhaps we bypass these more touristy spots and took us to Nerano to La Conca del Sogno for the best lunch we enjoyed during our week in Italy (see my separate Trip Advisor review of this restaurant). We never regretted this decision and loved this recommendation as much as the day-long boat ride. When we asked to take a post-lunch dip near a beach, he easily provided such an experience complete with floatation noodles. It was bittersweet to have this day end despite knowing we could enjoy other experiences on the Amalfi Coast. This private boat charter overall was indeed the absolute highlight of our time on Amalfi! Thank you, David and Carmen!
